The airfield now has a new 650 m long east-west runway in addition to the north-south and interesting hill runways. The flying tasks will be set over attractive countryside touching five shires; Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, and Leicestershire.

Description

Preston Capes is a small village set in the heart of the South Northamptonshire countryside. For avid microlighters, it is also closely linked with Keith Negal and the BMAA.

So, it's great to see the competition scene make it home for a round of the national championship.
